Chaunté Gilmore for OK House District 100

The Oklahoma Democratic Veterans Federation strongly supports the election of Chaunté Gilmore for Oklahoma House District 100. The daughter of a 100% disabled Veteran, with an uncle, great uncle, and many extended family members having served in the US Armed Forces, Chaunté has a good understanding of the rewards and challenges facing those who have served and are serving now. Frequently relocated military families face challenges of schooling and children care, and of employment opportunities for spouses. Veterans, many suffering from PTSD and other service-related problems, deserve superior mental health care, job security and affordable housing.

As a State Representative, Chaunté Gilmore will support legislation and funding for agencies and partner organizations providing healthcare, including mental healthcare; for job training and job security; for affordable and available housing; and for in-home care for Veterans. She understands that all of these vital missions require cooperation of state and federal agencies, and partnership with public and private community organizations.
