The Oklahoma Democratic Party Veterans Federation strongly supports the election of Jerry L. Donathan for Oklahoma State Senate District #7. Jerry’s military service spans two eras. After service in the US Navy (1966-1970), he served for a quarter century in the Oklahoma National Guard (1982-2006), participating in Operation Desert Storm and retiring as a Master Sergeant (E-8).                 Jerry strongly supports quality health care, including mental health support, for veterans, to bring down the tragically high rate of suicide among vets. A lifetime member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans, Jerry will have always have an open door for veterans.
