Madison Horn for Congressional District 5

The Oklahoma Democratic Veterans Federation strongly supports the election of Madison Horn to the US Congress from Oklahoma District 5. Madison’s family includes veterans of the Korean conflict (serving with the Oklahoma National Guard) and of World War II’s Battle of the Bulge, with relatives stretching back to the American Revolution.

Madison’s family legacy in military service drives her personal dedication and commitment to supporting our Veterans. She knows that the challenges facing Veterans demand more than just words or legislative afterthought, but meaningful action that will expand access to comprehensive medical health care that’s needed and deserved. As suicides among Veterans rise, increasing access to mental health resources is critical. Furthermore, the Veterans Administration, which serves more than nine million Americans, must be streamlined to ensure that Veterans’ needs, including routine doctors’ visits and prescriptions, are met promptly without burdensome bureaucratic red tape. As a U.S. Representative, Madison will make service to Veterans a top priority.
